Research at the IU-SOC

One key aspect of the mission of the IU-SOC focuses on research, with the ultimate goal of creating programs and initiatives based on collected data to further the mission of the IU-SOC. Several studies have been conducted at the clinic to date, and many more related to patient demographics, common health conditions, the student experience, and clinic operations are planned for the near future.

For volunteers and partners interested in contributing to research at the clinic, please be aware that there is an approval process in order to ensure the highest standard of research design and patient care. Please contact the Research Chair (research@iu-soc.org), who will advise you of the process and work with you to ensure that your project meets these expectations.

Scientific Advisory Board

The clinic could not function without the support of faculty, staff, and community members. Several of these individuals have volunteered to serve on the Scientific Advisory Board, which gathers to review student research projects, to offer guidance, and to ensure the highest standard of research design and patient care.
